Doesn't get much rounder than this. I wouldn't be put off by it being off center in the WISE imagery pushing it out of the circle.
I confess that my imagination immediately turns to one of those illustrations of a star sucking matter off another star. Can't be, though.
The lower right one isn't round so it got my hopes up that it could be a cloud with a bar crossing it.
Is it possible that this is a resolved disk?
Sneaky faint object or extension southeast of the bright point.
Odd shape. Not even sure which one represents the infrared source. Maybe an unusual galaxy...
It's neat how the bright star disappears completely at 22 micrometers. I'm curious about the dots which appear in one frame only.
#artifact in DSS2 IR (1.15 μm), possibly still a good candidate. Stray dot is only in one frame.
Thanks, I wasn't sure. So nothing wrong with it leaving the circle in DSS2 imagery. Good to know.
Bright in DSS2 Blue (0.665 μm), dims in 2MASS H (1.66 μm) and then brightens once again in WISE 4 (22 μm). Nothing in the guide
