IRAS 19241+1438 -- Infra-Red source
WISE 4 seems extended
#contamination in WISE 3?
Why is the object missing in DSS2 Blue and Red?
#carbon star according to SIMBAD
TYC 8973-2742-1 #star
#goodcandidate noAO
#star noAO
#contamination
IRAS 18560+0549 #star
#SEDgood #star no AO
#star ? no AO
#star no AO
Too crowded. Contaminated.
#star #goodcandidate ?
#goodcandidate ?
A bit crowded. contamination? SED looks good though.
Is this a #goodcandidate ? check out the SED
#galaxy #agn
#goodcandidate ? SED looks good I think.
simbad also returns an error as there's no coordinates. no wise ID as well.
SED looks like that of a ring disk or a white dwarf, yes?
what's wrong with the first image?
#goodcandidate
missing 2MASS images
I'm not sure if this is a good candidate. SED doesn't look right.
That star in the north is hogging all the light.
#infraredsource
#x-ray source
Interesting SED. As if a good candidate star but with background noise.
#carbonstar What's that?
a very close #galaxy ?
#nebula ?
The big bang. 😄 #diffraction
This star is being bullied on both sides. #diffraction
a quasar? neat! but if it's a quasar, it's a galaxy right? so no debris/protoplanetary disks?
Is that Sauron's eye in DSS2 Blue?
beautiful spiral #galaxy but with #diffraction spikes
imaging error in DSS2 IR? or #trails
Way off center in DSS2 Blue
But this one is brighter in the shorter wavelengths.
Yep, I've just edited my last comment. Can galaxies appear that bright? It's brighter than the target star.
What is that at the upper left corner?
looks like a spiral
weird extension in DSS2 images
Was this taken in the day? LOL. That is one bright neighbor.
I'd say yes. Hi Meg! Do you mind if I spend some time here at the moment? It's quite addictive. 😄
nice spiral galaxy to the left, and of course the galaxy at the center
very distorted in the shorter wavelengths
This one made me think. How would a nebula look like in the images?
so, we can resolve binaries in these images?
Both DSS2 and 2MASS images look distorted. Is this an imaging issue?
A satellite/asteroid maybe in DSS2 Red image? #trails
Check out the 2MASS images, especially 2MASS J. Is that an edge-on ring?
