This star has already been a subject to planet finding campaigns. It is probably also a target to Gemini Planet Imager so it can skip the whole project.

Thanks for the good finds, artman40--it's nice to know we're pulling out some known disks as that gives us confidence that we'll find new ones!

How come that most of these stars belong to spectral class A? Are these stars the highest priority for follow-up observations?

A stars are bright, so they are easy to follow up. 😉

Are fainter A-stars absent due to lack of detections in WISE images?

Well, fainter anything will not appear in the WISE images. But the references you're finding in SIMBAD to known disks are for the most part for disks known prior to WISE, identified as disks based on other data from other places.
