Long time Zooniverse contributer and Twitch streamer checking in

by kodemunkey
Hello, i'm Kodemunkey. I'm a long time Zoonverse contributor (3,000+ classifications across several projects) I helped Tony Cook to make a research breakthrough when Moon Zoo was running, I was top contributor to the now closed Label Mars machine learning project and I helped to make some discoveries in the Shakespeare's World project.
I'm also a Twitch streamer and at weekends I've been streaming various Zooniverse projects with permission from the individual project teams, I have permission from around 7 projects to stream them for my weekend streams and I was hoping I could gain permission to stream Disk Detective too.

Hi, kodemonkey. As part of Citizen Science Week this week, we're doing a Disk Detective Facebook live event 2pm EST this Wednesday. We'll go over how to use https://t.co/blH68Qq0Ft and we'll talk about @ESAGaia. If you'd like to join in, just go to https://t.co/W0Qyg0L4sl 2pm New York time.

I need to know why 'hidden' links are used? (https://t.co/blH68Qq0Ft) I have always been leery on clicking something I do not know where it will take me, so I usually pass. There is a Hyperlink option available in all of Zooniverse, why not use it? Then it gives me the option (by hovering) to see where it will take me.
Stay cool
