Hello everyone, shocko61 Ian here . I have done a few hundred images and do not know much about what I am doing but after looking at images in talk I have the feeling that AWI0000vnc could be a good candidate . I need all the help I can get as I am strictly amateur , no scientific background . Cheers , ian

Hello Ian, welcome to Disk Detective. AWI000vnc is not a good candidate. When you click on "More Info on SIMBAD", you will see that it's a "Seyfert 1 Galaxy". To help you in your classification, you can take a look at : http://blog.diskdetective.org/2015/02/15/examples-of-seds (Examples of SEDs),
The Disk Detective FAQ - http://blog.diskdetective.org/2015/03/05/the-disk-detective-faq
    Disk Detective Glossary - http://blog.diskdetective.org/2014/12/29/disk-detective-glossary

If you see any interesting objects or SEDs, do tag and comment on it or ask questions. Thank you for your help 😃

By the way, Ian, if you have done more than 300 classifications and want to know more about disk planetary systems, we invite you to join our Advanced User Group.

Send an email to diskdetectives@gmail.com "This is where the real adventure begins!"

Hi voyager1682002, I have looked around and found that AWI0000vnc is a galaxy , using your information above in SED & SIMBAD learning my way around will be half of the battle . Thank you very much for the information . I have classified about 900+ images but will now be able to hopefully do it more accurately and look at SEDs etc . etc. Also thank you for the invite to be a member of your Advanced User Group , I will join your group as soon as I have a bit more confidence in what I am trying to do . And read & re-read the links you have provided . I will ask a lot of questions and post a lot images . Many thanks . Ian 😃
