  Welcome to Disk Detective, e.decohen00! Those dots you see (like the one at 10 o'clock in the DSS images of AWI0001pux) are stars or galaxies in the background. If you see something like that INSIDE the red circle be sure to click the "Multiple Objects" button. Best, Marc
