Active galaxy with jets?

The DSS2 image shows a disky object listed as galaxy in SIMBAD. The 2MASS images show knots in opposite sides, being the left know the brightest at longer wavelenghts, while right knots are double and fainter in WISE images. The image resembles an active galaxy with two large jets with a position angle of about 70 degrees. Also, important, SIMBAD reports a radiosource at the position of the knot! PMN J2349-3831. My guess: it is a radio galaxy!

A detail: the jets are normal to the disk.

hmm, it is difficult to tell if the radio source SIMBAD is identifying is actually associated with the object in the circle, in fact there is a whole other citizen science project that works on testing whether infrared objects are aligned with radio sources (Radio Galaxy zoo!). Since the object to the left you are thinking about also shows up in the WISE bands, my guess is that it might be a separate background object. But interesting thoughts! We certainly are seeing all sorts of objects out there, so we may find some jet launching galaxies...
