  Is it discarded for not being round in the DSS2 images or could be a good candidate with microscope artifact?

  I would; since the same effect (not being round) is also inherit to the nearby objects outside the circle call the target round and a #goodcandidate . Great find , at least at this stage. Further vetting will be required #(Roeser+,2010) has it with High Proper Motion #HPM
