Interesting star. Is that anomaly a planet?

"DSS2 Red" image shows what could be a planet. And what exact type of star would this be? YSO?

Hi Neyavi, After having read a few of the research papers in SIMBAD, It has been well researched and although it is known to have a disk probably what you see is a CO gas cloud with alot of debris in it in my opinon. The shape seems a bit "not round" Mighty big to be a planet for this star. Maybe someone else can confirm yes or no for sure. Good to have you helping look with us for stars with disks.

If you are referring to the dark spot at 2 o'clock just outside the red circle, that is probably an artifact. DSS images are scanned photographic glass plates, and some contain scratches or dust the cause this sort of dark spot. If you want more information, you can go to the Help Board on the Discussion page, click on "Common Artifacts", then on "Artifacts in DSS images". I hope this helps.
