learning . Questions please I found in VisieR ,A 2MASS ALL SKY SURVEY location that varies from The Wise RA 123810.40 the ASS location is 123810.42 .the DE s are the same 661810.0 . Does the .40 .42 make a difference to the Target 123810.40-661810.0? ..and secondly does a target with double JMags Double Hmags and double KMags mean that the Target is a Veriable Star ? IE : JMag8.441 ,JMag 0.027 , HMag7.368 , HMag0.049 , KMag 6.956 , KMag0.029 . I hope all of that is understandable . Thank you Cheers ,Ian

Hi Ian,
The RA (Right ascension) is equivalent to the terrestrial longitude, it is written in hours, minutes and seconds. The DE (Declination) is equivalent to the terrestrial latitude, it is written in degree, minutes and seconds. So the difference in .02 seconds is ok. As for the double JMags, Hmags, etc. they are not double, actually one is JMag value and the other one is e_Jmag which is referring to the uncertainty of the value of JMag. same as all the others. I hope you understand what I am talking about 😃Lily
