Good candidate or not?

This YSO seems clearly extended in WISE 4, but has been classified as YSO + disk in several references in VizieR based mostly on Spitzer survey data. Is this a good candidate?

I agree, Joe! The Spitzer images are higher resolution---maybe they showed something that we can't see.

A lot of YSOs are in star formation regions, which often means they are embedded in clouds of gas and dust. Hence sometime they'll clearly be extended like this guy. We usually want to ignore these for two reasons (though this guy isn't that extended 😃 ). Reason 1: unless we devote a lot of effort we can't really tell if the excess is coming from the cloud or object (like Marc mentioned, Spitzer can see a lot better than we can). Reason 2: If they are already in a well known star formation region, they are probably already well studied like this one and we want to find the ones that haven't been found!
