How was it determined that this object was blended?

  I am trying to learn how to distinguish blended objects with a lot of overlap, like this one. How is that done?

  On disc detective WISE images are smoothed and it looks like contrast is enhanced and normalized on the central source. Here there is an object at 9 which is blended with the central source at WISE 4. It's much clearer on raw AllWISE images.

  I keep it simple on disc detective and look four round images at WISE 4 with no multiple.
