  Why are some of the dss2 images so pixelated? does this effect whether or not it is a good canidate? i can hardly make out the focus point of some of these images.

  Sometimes we have bad images and it's very difficult to say if the object is good or not, so we search in SIMBAD or VIZIER and try to find a clue in the catalogs.
  In this case we have little info about the object and it seems extended in WISE 3 and 4 .
