Star within Galaxy

This one looks like a #goodcandidate Simbad says Seyfert 1 SED says galaxy: How good are the telescopes at picking out individual stars out of a galaxy or is our galaxy the only galaxy that we can do that with?

The small 2MASS and WISE telescopes are incapable of picking individual stars out of any galaxy other than our own. The only exception might be the Magellanic Clouds (neighbors to our Milky Way Galaxy) for extremely bright stars. Hubble, of course, can see fine detail like individual stars in nearby galaxies but cannot see the infrared wavelengths that WISE can see.
