Initial double image

  I've seen several images like this - what appear to be 2 or more objects in the initial image, which then merge. Is this an artifact or a sign that this is not a good candidate?

  For this kind of object I would consider marking the "not round in DSS or 2MASS images" button, since it looks peanut shaped.
