Arc in view

  Check out this arc on DSS2 IR (1.15 μm). It tangentially touches the object in the circle and is centered somewhere off the screen! I'm trying to figure out what could cause this thing. The only thing I can come up with is lensing but I don't think that's it. What is the verdict here?

  No clues, may be is some sort of contamination.
